So far, Marija Angelovska (1994) has published an independent collection of short stories “Glava sto lebdi” (A floating head) – 2021. She has participated in workshops (FEM 101 Medusa and Tiiiit.inc), literary evenings (100,000 poets for change, Struga Poetry Evenings, Student Music Spring (reading short stories)) and competitions (Freedom, Dream, Love, 2017). She is the winner of the “Novelty” literary award for the best debut prose author in 2021.
She has published poetry and prose in literary magazines and anthologies: “Džindzudze vo zemjata na afionite” (Jinjudze in the land of opium) (2022 – Anthology of Short Stories), “Kniževni elementi br.6” (Literary Elements No. 6) (2022 – Literary Magazine), “100.000 pesnika za promene” (100,000 Poets for Change) (2021 – Anthology of Poetry), “Rukopisi 41” (Manuscripts 41) (2018 – an anthology of short stories), as well as on various web portals.
She worked as a teacher of English language and literature, and now works as a technical author in an IT company. At the same time, she works as an English-Macedonian translator and interpreter at various events in the field of culture, business and politics (film festivals, panel discussions, etc.).
