Verena Dürr (1982, Austria) is an author, musician and social worker based in Vienna, Austria. She is part of the literature band “Smashed to Pieces” and organizes a transmedia literature series called “Kein Konzil, Musenküsse!”. In 2017 she participated in the Bachmann-prize reading competition. Dürr writes essays and lyric poetry. 2019 her first radio play “Herr im Garten” was produced and aired by Bayrischer Rundfunk. Currently she is working on her second radio play and debut novel.
