Brano Mandić, a journalist, writer and visual artist was born in Bar, SFRJ in 1979. He is a long-standing columnist of the daily newspaper Vijesti and one of the most read authors of the newspaper prose in Montenegro and the region. He published a book of short stories ”Fedo was waiting for a pencil”, in 2016. His stories have been translated in English and published in several American and European magazines. He is a co-founder of the publishing house Yellow Turtle. After several years spent in the USA he began his visual creations mainly in the form of painting and video art. He exhibited his work in the USA, Slovenia and Montenegro. He is author of Radio Show ”Zizula” a student Radio Krš [Rubble] in Podgorica.
