Milana Grbićwas born in 1996 in Belgrade. She finished elementary school and gymnasium in Kikinda. Among others, she is a winner of the literary prizes were Filip Franc, Vukašin Conić, Gordana Brajović, The Šantić’s Pen and Bal in Elemir. She is the current laureate of the literary contest, Đura Đukanov, that is released by Jovan Popović library in Kikinda since 2005 (for a collection of stories The Sea Around Us). She attended an interdisciplinary seminar of social sciences Mind, Language, Culture in ISP Petnica and was a participant in a creative writing workshop led by writer Srđan Srdić and literary critic Vladimir Arsenić. She is a student at the Department of General Literature and Literary Theory at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
