Montenegro

Nikola Nikolić was born in 1989 in Podgorica. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science. At the same faculty, he defended his master’s thesis on quisling regimes. He writes novels, stories and essays. So far he has published two novels: “The Knot” (Studio Mouse, 2011) and “Meandar” (Nova knjiga, 2014), as well as a collection of stories “Atakama” (Nova knjiga, 2016). The co-editor of the book “Who’s Who in the Diaspora of Montenegro – Science” (Center for Emigrants, 2013). His stories are published in Montenegrin and regional magazines. He writes literary reviews for the Glif portal, and is also the author of the blog on the News portal. He won the “Bihor Venus” prize for a short story. His stories were translated into Albanian and English. He is Art Director of the International Podgorica Book Fair and Education.
