Veronika D. Nikulesku (1968) je rumunska spisateljica. Za svoju prvu zbirku kratkih priča, “Adeb” (Adeb je ime mačke), objavljenu 2004, dobila je nagradu Rumunskog udruženja pisaca za debitantsku knjigu. 2008 je objavila drugu zbirku kratkih priča “Narandžasti orkestar”. Njena treća knjiga, objavljena 2009, je bajka napisana u saradnji sa rumunskim pesnikom Emilom Brumaruom. Njena najnovija knjiga je roman, koji je spreman za štampu.

2010 je pobedila na HBO Nacionalnom takmičenju scenarija.

Prevodila je sa engleskog dela Vladimira Nabokova i Semjuela Beketa.

Živi u gradu Sibiu i radi kao novinar “Cultural Supplement” magazina.

Then she wrote “Orchestra portocalie” (“The Orange Orchestra”), also a collection of short stories, published in 2008. The third book, published in 2009, is a fairy tale written together with the Romanian poet Emil Brumaru: “Basmul Prinţesei Repede-Repede” („The Fairy Tale of Princess Hurry-Hurry”). Her most recent book is a novel, waiting to be published.

In 2010 she won the HBO National Screenplay Competition with the short screenplay “Curierul” (“The Courier”).

She translated from english several books of Vladimir Nabokov and Samuel Beckett, published at Polirom Publishing House.

Living in Sibiu, she is working as a journalist for “Cultural Supplement” magazine.
